Live: Protest Against Transgender Speech in Yerevan

“This speech was received very negatively by the Armenian public and civil society, as the ideas expressed during the promotion of homosexuality from the parliament contradict the national and moral perceptions of the Armenian people that have been formed over the past 1700 years based on Christian values and the traditional family value system,” said one of the citizens during the protest held today.

It is worth noting that the protest was organized by the NGO "Will for the Protection of Armenian Values," which expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that a transgender speech was broadcast on April 5 during the parliamentary hearings.
