The driver of a Nissan vehicle performing a drift on the streets of Saralanj is 27-year-old Artjom Davtyan, the director of the Armenian branch of Autocom Japan. The company specializes in the import of right-hand drive cars from Japan to Armenia. Davtyan, who was detained by the police, is known to be an active participant in the 'Right Hand' initiative. According to a statement from the police, a video was circulated on social media showing the Nissan vehicle openly showing disrespect towards other road users and grossly violating traffic rules by drifting in the center of the road.
