How the Court Hearing on the Extradition of 'Franklin Gonzales' to Sargsyan Proceeded
According to the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper, last week in the Czech Republic, a court hearing was held on the extradition of Narek Sargsyan, who was hiding under the name of Franklin Gonzales, the nephew of Serzh Sargsyan. The hearing was convened to discuss the application of the RA Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the extradition of Narek Sargsyan. However, it became known to us that the court session has been postponed.
Most likely, at the upcoming court session, the issue of extraditing Narek Sargsyan will be decided. The law enforcement system is confident that the Czech court will grant the request of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.
Narek Sargsyan, who is wanted, was located on December 6, 2018, in Prague. On January 4, 2019, the RA Prosecutor General's Office sent the necessary documents for Narek Sargsyan’s extradition to the law enforcement agencies of the Czech Republic.
