Price Increase: Flour and Bread Have Become More Expensive
The newspaper "Zhoghvorud" reports that during the month of March this year, according to official data, the price of flour increased by 4%, and the price of bread by 1.3%. The newspaper learned that in March of this year, compared to February, there was a 0.1% inflation in Armenia's consumer market.
This increase was mainly due to a 0.6% rise in non-food products. Conversely, during the same period, prices for meat and non-alcoholic beverages decreased.
The price drop in the meat market amounted to 0.7%, primarily due to falling prices for beef and pork. However, despite this, poultry prices increased by 2.1%.
According to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, bakery products and dairy products have also become more expensive, with a 1% price increase recorded in this segment in March compared to February.
