NSS Releases Detained Official of State Control Service

One of the detained officials of the State Control Service has been released. The news was conveyed to Factor.am by NSS spokesperson Samson Galstyan.

According to Galstyan, "By the decision of the prosecutor conducting procedural oversight, the detention of Gevorg Khachatryan has been replaced with a signature of not leaving the designated location."

It is noteworthy that Gevorg Khachatryan is the chief specialist of the procurement monitoring department within the State Control Service.

In addition, it should be mentioned that Khachatryan's function in the State Control Service has been to monitor the legality of public tender processes. He has been charged under part 2 of Article 308 of the Criminal Code, which includes abuse of official powers resulting in serious consequences.
