Large Fire in Aragatsotn Region: Firefighters Discover Completely Burned Body of Homeowner in Living Room

Today, on April 4, a tragic incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. At around 17:20, the emergency situations ministry's rescue service received a call reporting a fire at house number 31 on Zorapnyal Street in the town of Talin.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, the Talin Fire and Rescue Unit No. 22 promptly arrived with one fire-engine unit, led by unit commander Sevak Fahradyan.

The firefighters initially contained the fire from spreading on the second floor of the identified house, before extinguishing it. An operational group from the Talin Police Department also arrived, headed by department chief Arthur Frangyan. While extinguishing the blaze, firefighters and police discovered the body of the homeowner, 89-year-old Hranush Yenokyan, completely burned in the living room.
