Major Fraud Uncovered at VTB Bank's Sisian Branch

Sources from Aurora Media report that around a week ago, a scandalous revelation occurred at the "VTB" bank branch in the city of Sisian, located in the Syunik province. According to local sources speaking with us, an employee of the branch who was involved in pawning gold caused millions in damages to the bank and its clients in collaboration with her son.

Specifically, our source mentioned that the gold jewelry pawned by the citizens was given to her son, a jeweler, in exchange for inferior and altered versions being returned to the clients.

The fraud was uncovered when some citizens noticed discrepancies in the jewelry they received. One citizen reported being given a shorter necklace, while another found that the diamonds in their ring had been replaced with zircon stones.

Aurora's sources have indicated that the bank branch was temporarily closed while audit checks were being conducted. During the audits, numerous violations and fraudulent schemes were uncovered.

The branch is now open again.
