Brutal Murder in Yerevan: Body of Homeowner Found in Apartment

Today, on April 6, a particularly brutal murder occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 11:50 AM, the emergency situations ministry's rescue service received a call from the operational management center, reporting that a resident of apartment 13 in building 24 of the 8th mass of the Nor Nork administrative district had not responded to door knocks or phone calls for an extended period, and that assistance from rescuers was needed to open the door.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, rescuers arrived promptly and, upon opening the door to the house, discovered the body of the homeowner on the living room sofa. The photojournalist reported that the homeowner was found with her mouth sealed with duct tape, and there were several traces on her body consistent with injuries from a sharp-cutting object.
