Car Accident at Artashisyan-Hovsepian Intersection in Yerevan

A car accident occurred in Yerevan on April 4. At approximately 11:40, vehicles with license plates 35 NT 882 (Toyota Corolla) and 81 AF 818 (Nissan Teana) collided at the Artashisyan-Hovsepian intersection.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, two drivers and one passenger were taken to the Erebuni Medical Center with bodily injuries, and the Toyota subsequently crashed into a thick tree.

The website reported that residents living near the accident site have appealed to the traffic police and the mayor of Yerevan, requesting the installation of a traffic light at the intersection, as they stated that there have been numerous accidents and pedestrian incidents, including fatalities, in this area. They believe that the installation of a traffic light would reduce the number of such incidents.
