How Much Money Has Police Chief Valery Osipyan Declared?
The Chief of Police of Armenia, Valery Osipyan, submitted his annual declaration for 2018 to the High Commission for Ethics of High-Ranking Officials on March 26, 2019. According to the document submitted to the commission, there are no details regarding real estate and movable property in the police chief's declaration.
Osipyan reported a loan amounting to 16,500 USD at the beginning of the tax year, of which 177 USD has been repaid. Thus, by the end of the tax year, the loan amount stood at 16,323 USD.
The cash holdings in Armenian drams that Valery Osipyan had at the beginning of the 2018 tax year amounted to 1,450,000 AMD, which increased to 9,475,600 AMD by the end of the tax year.
According to the declaration, Osipyan's income was derived from his salary, interest received on the loans he provided, and other compensations.
In 2018, as remuneration for work and/or equivalent payments, the police chief received 6,570,963 AMD, along with 326,088 AMD as interest and other compensations received for loans provided.
Therefore, the total annual income of the Chief of Police of Armenia, Valery Osipyan, amounted to 6,897,051 AMD.
