The Market Surveillance Inspection Body has issued a statement addressing complaints and discontent from citizens regarding the amount of gas sold at gas stations.

The inspection body urges all businesses and employees of gas stations to strictly adhere to the amount of gas sold and to avoid violations, specifically underfilling and exceeding the established gas pressure limits. "Given the numerous complaints and concerns received from our citizens in recent times, the Market Surveillance Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia strongly advises all gas station operators to comply with the regulations and ensure that the gas sold at filling stations is within the appropriate norms, following the daily gas density measurements published on the official website of the National Metrology Institute, www.metrology.am. It is also essential to provide fiscal receipts; otherwise, stricter regulatory measures will be enforced," the statement reads.

The Market Surveillance Inspection Body encourages consumers to be vigilant, to always request fiscal receipts, and to immediately report any violations to the inspection body by submitting a written complaint either in person or by sending a signed version to either [email protected] or [email protected].
