73-Year-Old Woman Arrested in Armenia on Trafficking Charges

As part of the "Zinanos-2019" complex preventive measure, at 06:40 AM on April 2, criminal investigators from the Nor Nork division of the police apprehended 73-year-old Silvard Z. at Zvartnots Airport following the arrival of the Istanbul-Yerevan flight. The arrest was made based on operational data, as she had been wanted by the Kumayri division of the police since May 25, 2007, under article 132, part 3, point 2 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (human trafficking or exploitation).
