New Zealand Prime Minister Vows Never to Utter Australian Terrorist's Name

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has vowed never to utter the name of the 28-year-old Australian charged in the Christchurch mosque shootings.

In her speech to Parliament, the Prime Minister began with an Arabic greeting, "As-salamu alaykum."

"I call for the names of those we have lost to be spoken, but not the name of the man who took them from us. He is a terrorist, he is an extremist, and he will remain nameless," Ardern stated.

It is worth noting that on March 15, 50 people were killed and more than 20 were injured in a shooting spree carried out by Brenton Tarrant at two Christchurch mosques.
