Shooting Between Armenians, Azerbaijanis, and Dagestanis: One Armenian Dead

On March 10, a mass confrontation involving firearms occurred in the city of Frolovo, Volgograd region, resulting in one death and three injuries.

According to Tert.am, referencing bloknot-volgograd.ru, the shooting was triggered by a dispute involving a Dagestani individual. Initially, six citizens from Dagestan entered a store-office owned by an Armenian-Azerbaijani mixed family in Frolovo.

The source notes that the conflict initially had an economic nature. The representatives of the Armenian-Azerbaijani family involved in the conflict are business owners engaged in trade.

According to one of the participants in the exchange of gunfire, the Dagestanis were the first to open fire, leading to the death of one Armenian.

As for the injured, two are Dagestanis, and the other is a member of the Armenian-Azerbaijani family, whose condition is reported to be critical.

Sources from the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Volgograd region reported that four Dagestanis who fled the scene have been apprehended.
