Vladimir Etush, People's Artist of the USSR, Passes Away

Vladimir Etush, the People's Artist of the USSR, has passed away at the age of 97.

On March 8, the actor's health deteriorated, prompting an ambulance to hospitalize him in the intensive care unit of a Moscow clinic. Unfortunately, the doctors were unable to save his life.

In recent months, the actor had been in poor health, which had led to several hospitalizations.

Some of his most famous roles include Shakhov in "The Caucasian Chalk Circle," dentist Shpak in "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession," and Karabas Barabas in "The Adventures of Buratino."
