Closed and Difficult-to-Navigate Roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of February 20th, at 20:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed to trucks with trailers and difficult to navigate for passenger vehicles.
Closed roads include inter-community routes in the Aragatsotn region's Aparan area: Tsaghkashen-Aragats-Vardenut, Nigavan, Lusagugh, Yeghipatrush, Mirak, Shoghak, Tsaghkashen, Kuchak, Saralanj, and the Aragats region's Sipan, Avshen, Charjik, Midnatun, Shenkani, and Lerrnrot villages.
Routes that are difficult to navigate include the Sotk-Karvachar road and inter-community roads in the Hnaberd village of Aragatsotn region.
The roads near Geghadzor village in Aragatsotn region have areas of black ice.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
Regarding Lars
According to information received from the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepanavan-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
Information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of North Ossetia indicates that there are accumulated vehicles on the Russian side.
Construction Work Underway
Construction works are ongoing from the 39th km of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi road to Bagratashen.

Internal community traffic to the cities of Alaverdi and Vanadzor, as well as nearby settlements, can be directed via:
1. Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Agarak-Koghes-Aygehath-Odzun-Alaverdi border route segments.

Since June 30, 2018, construction work has been carried out at the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri road, causing a 200 m section to be closed in one direction as of February 20th.
