Should We Vote in Favor Out of Fear? Is This the New Armenia? Step Down, Marukyan

“If ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ writes such things, then why should I be upset when Facebook users criticize? In other words, whatever project they bring, should we vote in favor out of fear that they will say Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan are behind us? Is this the new Armenia? They have come this far, step down. I am saddened that a newspaper I once read has published such an editorial after a clash between the first government and opposition,” said Edmon Marukyan, leader of the ‘Bright Armenia’ party, during a conversation with journalists today regarding the editorial titled ‘The Opposition Has Torn Its Mask Off.’

Marukyan emphasized that if ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ is writing such things, then why should he be upset about the criticism from Facebook users?
