Gagik Harutyunyan Meets with Levon Ter-Petrosyan

According to information from the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Gagik Harutyunyan recently met with the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, with whom he has family ties through his brother.

Reports indicate that during the meeting, Harutyunyan's main topic of conversation revolved around questions concerning his future. He mentioned that there are demands for his resignation and that affairs within the Supreme Judicial Council are deteriorating. Perhaps Harutyunyan hoped that the first president would intercede with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, allowing him to continue his work without issues.

However, it is worth noting that it was during Gagik Harutyunyan's tenure that the Constitutional Court rejected Levon Ter-Petrosyan's application in 2008, which sought to annul the blatantly falsified presidential elections. It is unlikely that Ter-Petrosyan has forgotten this.
