Over 37,000 Voters Participate in Local Elections, 58.47% Turnout

Local self-government elections took place today in 24 communities of Armenia. As of 20:00, the elections are considered concluded. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has published the participation results as of that time.

A total of 63,725 individuals had the right to vote, with 37,262 exercising that right, accounting for 58.47% of voters.

Participation rates in various communities are as follows:

• Araivaghuir Community: 932 registered, 704 participated (75.54%)
• Vardashen Community: 413 registered, 274 participated (66.34%)
• Urtsadzor Community: 3,081 registered, 2,220 participated (72.05%)
• Haykavan Community: 1,093 registered, 335 participated (30.65%)
• Hovtamet Community: 908 registered, 568 participated (62.56%)
• Margara Community: 1,028 registered, 557 participated (54.18%)
• Vardanashen Community: 822 registered, 528 participated (64.23%)
• Nalbandyan Community: 3,296 registered, 1,856 participated (56.31%)
• Nor Armavir Community: 1,505 registered, 964 participated (64.05%)
• Dzhrashen Community: 656 registered, 349 participated (53.20%)
• Ohanavan Community: 1,962 registered, 1,545 participated (78.75%)
• Tegler Community: 165 registered, 86 participated (52.12%)
• Akunq Community: 3,076 registered, 2,020 participated (65.67%)
• Vardenis Community: 10,676 registered, 5,859 participated (54.88%)
• Zoraget Community: 186 registered, 130 participated (69.89%)
• Khagsi Community: 1,913 registered, 1,338 participated (69.94%)
• Nor Geghi Community: 4,801 registered, 2,738 participated (57.03%)
