According to a tweet from the Fars news agency, "The death toll has reached 41, including members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and civilians."

Earlier reports indicated 20 dead and an additional 20 injured, with the deceased believed to be military personnel. The explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber, although no terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the incident.
