Suicide Attempt Near 'Gayané' Church

On January 29, a suicide attempt occurred in the Armavir province.

According to Shamshyan.com, at approximately 23:50, Father Mkrtich alerted the Vagharchapat police that a girl was trying to commit suicide by hanging herself from a pipe near the ‘Gayané’ church in the city of Ejmiatsin.

The media reports that before the officers from the Vagharchapat police department arrived, Father Mkrtich was able to save the girl's life. When the police arrived, they transferred the girl to the Vagharchapat police department under the supervision of the senior inspector of the community police department.
