Searches Conducted in the Apartments of Gagik Tsarukyan's Son and Shshi Melo

According to Armenian time sources, a search was conducted in the apartment of Gagik Tsarukyan's son, Nver Tsarukyan, in Abovyan in connection with the armed incident that occurred on the night of January 29.

These same sources report that the apartment of former Armenian National Assembly member known as 'Shshi Melo', Melik Manukyan, was also searched.

In response to inquiries from the media, the Investigative Committee of Armenia stated only that more than twenty searches have been conducted within the framework of this criminal case.

It is noteworthy that in relation to the armed incident in Abovyan, Melik Manukyan's son, Shant Manukyan, has the status of a defendant, while Gagik Tsarukyan's son, Nver Tsarukyan, is considered a witness.

Shant Manukyan is accused of committing hooliganism with the use of a weapon.

Currently, there are six individuals arrested in connection with the armed incident.

As a result of the incident, the nephew of Manukyan and the son of his sister received gunshot wounds; in total, five out of seven injured individuals are related to him.
