Dismissals at the State Revenue Committee Are Not Hidden Behind the Mountains

According to the "168 Hours" newspaper, the noise surrounding the State Revenue Committee has not quieted down recently. It seems that the time has come to say goodbye to Davit Ananyan and several officials of the committee. Of course, the head of the government does not seem to be in a hurry for now. But this does not mean that dismissals at the committee are hidden behind the mountains.

The issue is not that there is a “secretary keeping a secretary,” or that the leadership of the committee is writing astronomical bonuses for itself while the government cannot find means to at least slightly increase the incomes of socially vulnerable groups, particularly pensioners and beneficiaries. The problem is also not that on one hand, there is optimization going on within the structure, while on the other hand, dubious positions have been opened, presumably to place acquaintances and relatives.

As strange as it may seem, there are positions in the State Revenue Committee that are hard to find in other structures. For instance, advisors to departments or department leaders. What this position entails remains a mystery.

Or, for example, it is announced that the fleet of service vehicles in the public administration system is being reduced, yet even the heads of departments at the State Revenue Committee are driving service cars. While some subdivisions of the committee genuinely need service vehicles, this is indeed the case. For example, subdivisions engaged in operational work. However, according to some reports, recently the service vehicles assigned to the operational department have started to be taken back and given to other departments.
