Collision between Mitsubishi Pajero and Volkswagen; 16-year-old boy hospitalized

Today, January 31, a car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 07:45, in the administrative area of Ayntap village, vehicles driven by 29-year-old Arshak Ghukasyan and 45-year-old Adis Abrahamyan collided in front of the 'Inessa' supermarket. The Volkswagen Golf, with the plate number 35 XZ 964, was driven by Ghukasyan, while Abrahamyan was behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi Pajero with the plate number 20 TS 636.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, a passenger in the Mitsubishi, a 16-year-old named N.N., sustained injuries and was transported to the Masis Medical Center. After receiving first aid from doctors, the boy was transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center.

Authorities from the Road Police's 2nd Special Battalion's 1st Company arrived at the scene, led by Senior Inspector Karapet Harutyunyan. The investigative actions at the site were headed by Senior Investigator Margar Margarjan of the same Battalion's 1st Company, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
