The Turn: The Business of Manvel Grigoryan's Daughter is Next
Under the leadership of the Deputy Mayor of Ejmiadzin, Arsen Petrosyan, city hall employees are currently attempting to halt the operations of an automobile washing station owned by the family of former MP Manvel Grigoryan's daughter.
The publication 'Hraparak' reports that Hrant Karapetyan, a member of the family's legal team, stated they have a court decision that prohibits the demolition of the car wash: “They claim they are halting illegal activities, but the municipality does not have such authority. 'Moika' operates within the legal framework and is in the tax domain.”
In a conversation with the media, Deputy Mayor Arsen Petrosyan said that the car wash was built on communal property and that there is nothing illegal about it: “They have filed a lawsuit, and until the judicial process is completed, the demolition process has been paused. We are currently blocking it; we have spoken with them, and they said they would shut down in 10 days, but then they took certain actions and are operating illegally.”
According to the Mayor, the car wash belongs to Manvel Grigoryan's daughter's brother-in-law, Serob Poghosyan, although there are rumors suggesting it is actually operated by the husband of Grigoryan's daughter.
