Rescue Teams Clear ‘Faraz’ Truck That Blocked Sisian-Goris Highway
The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ ‘911’ service received a call on January 30 at 19:10 reporting a traffic accident on the Sisian-Goris highway where vehicles had collided, but there were no reported injuries. Emergency services were called to assist.
A team from the firefighting and rescue unit of the Emergency Situations Ministry was dispatched to the scene.
According to the ministry's official website, it was determined that a ‘Faraz’ brand truck (a heavy vehicle manufactured in Iran) had slipped on black ice at the 10th kilometer of the Goris-Sisian highway, thereby blocking the road in one direction.
Rescuers, alongside staff from the Goris Traffic Police, worked to clear the truck.
