Black Ice Reported on Kapan-Kajaran Highway

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia reports that as of January 30 at 20:00, there are areas of black ice on the Kapan-Kajaran highway.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for heavy-duty and trailer vehicles.

Road construction workers are conducting snow clearing and treatment with salt and sand on the highways.

All other inter-state and republican roads are open.
