Roads Blocked and Difficult to Traverse in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 23, at 15:00, there are roads in Armenia that are difficult to traverse and blocked.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed only for vehicles with trailers.

On the Sotk-Karvachar road, in the regions of Ashotzk and Amasia in Shirak Marz, as well as on roads in Syunik Marz, there is black ice in places.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

According to the information received from the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
