Bullet Accidentally Hits 11-Year-Old Son During Shooting at Wolf

On January 22, at around 20:00, a 37-year-old resident of the Martakert region, identified as N. S., accidentally shot his 11-year-old son, T. S., in the back of the head while using a Saiga MK type rifle equipped with a thermal imaging device to shoot at a wolf.

The incident resulted in the boy sustaining an open gunshot wound to the head with brain injury.

The Artsakh police report that the rifle has been confiscated.

The investigation is being conducted by the Martakert regional division of the Artsakh police.
