Major Car Accident in Yerevan: One Injured

Today, January 23, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 21:40, a collision took place at the intersection of Mashtots Avenue and Isahakyan Street involving a Mercedes, driven by 26-year-old Narek Aghayan from Meghri, with license plate 35 GG 721, and an Opel Tigra, driven by 24-year-old Arthur Mkrtchyan from Vardenis, with license plate 59 AM 666.

According to Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver of the Opel was taken to the Number 1 University Hospital with bodily injuries.

At the direction of the investigator, the vehicles are being transferred to a special parking area of the Yerevan Traffic Police. The driver of the Mercedes underwent a sobriety test at the scene, and it was determined that he was sober.
