Shooting in Surenavan: 3 Injured
Today, January 22, shooting was reported in the Ararat region. At approximately 16:40, the Ararat regional police received a notification from the Vedi medical center that three individuals with gunshot wounds had been transferred there.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from Ararat, the injured individuals are residents of Surenavan village in the Ararat region: 35-year-old Vrej Ghazaryan, 30-year-old Vagharsak Ghazaryan, and 47-year-old Vahan Ghazaryan. The police determined that they had been taken to the hospital from a pasture located in the administrative territory of the village.
A criminal case has been initiated in the investigative department under Article 34-104, part 1 and Article 235, part 1 of the RA Criminal Code. Police and investigators have also found several vehicles damaged by gunfire, and the identities of their owners are being established.
According to reports from the photojournalist, the police and investigators have also identified the shooter, 22-year-old Argishti Broyan, a resident of the same village, who fled the scene.
