Major Car Accident in Kapan: Vehicle Crashes into Thick Tree, Casualties Reported
On January 12, a major car accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 4:15 PM, 32-year-old Sevak Poghosyan, a resident of Hunan Avetisyan Street in Kapan, drove his Nissan X-Trail (license plate 91 DG 001) off the roadway to the right and collided with a thick tree, subsequently overturning.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, driver S. Poghosyan and his passenger, 24-year-old Yuri Aleksanyan, a resident of M. Papyan Street in Kapan, were taken to the Kapan Medical Center with bodily injuries.
Sources indicate that Y. Aleksanyan is employed at the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine.
