Heavy Month: The National Assembly's European Integration Committee Will Not Be Given to BHK, Casting Done by Pashinyan
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: 'During the closed session of the 'My Step' faction held on Friday in the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan informed who will lead the parliamentary committees, and it was unexpectedly announced that the European integration committee will not be given to BHK.'
'We were previously told that it would be headed by Anush Beghloyan, the former spokesperson for Beeline, who was brought to the parliament by Mirzoyan’s efforts. However, another name was mentioned yesterday: Arman Yeghoyan, the former spokesperson for Nikol Pashinyan. In a conversation with us, he said that the matter is still under discussion. It should be noted that the 'My Step' faction is uninvolved in these questions; decisions are made personally by Pashinyan with the group that is casting the deputies.'
However, the coalition is currently in a tight spot as there are important inter-parliamentary assemblies scheduled for January, and they need to be adequately prepared for participation in meetings of the ECP, Eastern Partnership 'Euronest', and OSCE parliamentary assemblies. Delegations need to be formed, delegates prepared, and leaders appointed. In the direction of Eurasian affairs, it is also time to form the CSTO, CIS parliamentary assemblies, and the Armenian-Russian friendship group.'
