I Did Not Bring Edik Babayan to the National Assembly: Tsarukyan on the Head of Security

“For a long time now, Edik Babayan is not my head of security but rather an assistant to the president of the Olympic committee. My head of security is Aram Sargsyan,” said the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, during a conversation with reporters regarding the issue of his former head of security, Eduard Babayan, becoming a member of parliament.

It is worth noting that today is the first session of the National Assembly of the 7th convocation. Gagik Tsarukyan, who rarely participates in parliamentary sessions, was once again the center of attention for reporters.

When asked why Tsarukyan decided to bring Eduard Babayan to the Parliament, he stated that he did not bring him, but rather the people did. “I didn’t bring him; the people brought him, as he received the most votes,” emphasized Gagik Tsarukyan.
