Akharnik MP Hayk Sargsyan Elected Amid Numerous Abuses: Sargsyan's Response

We have information that the already known Akharnik MP Hayk Sargsyan was elected in Gegharkunik through numerous abuses of administrative resources. This was reported on his Facebook page by Daniel Ioannisyan.

“We will soon send the materials to the Special Investigative Service. But if you have information about this, write to me so that it can be more substantiated. I guarantee the confidentiality of sources,” he wrote.

In response, Hayk Sargsyan, an MP elected from the ‘My Step’ alliance, reacted to Ioannisyan by writing on his Facebook page:

“Dear friends, the not so unknown Daniel Ioannisyan has written on his Facebook wall that they have information that I was elected as an MP through numerous abuses of administrative resources and that they will soon send the materials to the Special Investigative Service. At the same time, this poor soul, to avoid falling into the hole he dug, says, ‘But if you have information about this, write to me so that it can be more substantiated. I guarantee the confidentiality of sources.’”

I was thinking of addressing his action in an appropriate manner, but then I remembered a precise characterization of him from someone who had a direct relationship with him in the recent past.

I hope you haven’t forgotten that during discussions in the National Assembly, he was declared incompetent, yet he did not try to refute or dispute it. Probably, the characterization was so well-founded that he deemed it futile to contest it. Therefore, from now on, I will address him without respectful titles, but I will keep in mind the aforementioned expression, not challenging the authorship.

So, dear non-respectful one, if you had such numerous pieces of information, why didn’t you publish them to inform the public, so that those grants given to you would not be meaningless, and why are you calling for such information? What is more substantiated, dear non-respectful one?

In the commonly used modern vocabulary, I declare to you, classic slanderer, if you do not immediately publish the information that you claim to have, and do not send them to the Special Investigative Service as promised, so that the relevant bodies can evaluate them, I will sue you for disseminating blatantly false information aimed at slandering me. Dear non-respectful one, do not delay; even those burned in my coat are waiting for your ‘revelation.’
