What Will Be Given to Melkumyan as Compensation: 'Zhamanak'

According to the newspaper 'Zhamanak', the proposal from the 'Enlightened Armenia' party to establish a permanent commission on EAEU issues in parliament has been accepted by the authorities.

'However, the Prosperous Armenia faction has aspirations over the commission, and it is possible that the forthcoming commission will be headed by Mikayel Melkumyan as compensation for the position of deputy speaker of parliament,' the paper writes.

According to the paper's information, the Prosperous Armenia may also be allocated the Human Rights and Public Affairs Committee, which may be led by Naira Zohrabyan, because the committee on European Integration that she heads is taken over by the 'My Step' alliance.
