Minister and Deputy Minister Gather Employees of the Ministry and Intimidate Them: 'Iratess'

The Minister of Diaspora and the Deputy Minister gathered the employees of the ministry before the holidays and, with a stern look and raised voice, intimidated everyone, saying, “How many of you are there that you are protesting against the closure of the ministry?”

Several employees of the ministry told ‘Iratess’ in an interview that they did not argue against the reprimands of the minister and the deputy minister.

“We were all under pressure, we all have our concerns, we are under loans, and at that moment we were thinking about not losing our jobs at least before the New Year,” said one of our interlocutors.

The minister and deputy minister told us that “if you think we should go out and protest in front of the government against our own team or teammate (referring to Ararat Mirzoyan), you are sorely mistaken,” the source added.

He also reported that there is currently an uncertain situation in the ministry, leading specialists and knowledgeable individuals in the sector do not know what their fate will be, where they will end up, and in what capacity.
