Lusavor Armenia Prepares to Submit Proposal to Parliament

The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports that the "Lusavor Armenia" faction of the National Assembly is preparing to submit a proposal for the establishment of a permanent committee in Parliament to coordinate activities with the EAEU.

According to the party's MP Gevorg Gorgisyan, the rationale for this proposal is as follows: Armenia is a member of the EAEU, where ongoing issues frequently arise. He noted that in the 6th convocation of the National Assembly, deputies were often forced to find various platforms and use their connections in different delegations or friendly groups to raise these issues in some way. However, he argued, this is not an institutional approach, and it would be appropriate to have such a structure that would address these matters. He emphasized that there is a practical necessity for this.
