Purchase of 'Tert.am', 'Armnews', and Other Media Outlets

Arman Sahakyan, Karen Bekaryan, Mihran Hakobyan, and Samvel Farmanyan have established 'Karyak Media' company, which has acquired 'Tert Em' LLC, 'Armnews' LLC, and 'Radio 107 FM' LLC, operating under the brands 'Tert.am', 'Armnews', and 'Lav Radio' respectively.

The mentioned announcement states:

"Months ago, we decided to withdraw from being part of the simplistic show that was hidden under the guise of 'political processes'.

We were concerned about the future of the country yesterday, we are concerned today, but we also have great hope to contribute to shaping a more reliable and predictable tomorrow. In this difficult and uncertain phase, when the fate of an entire nation hangs in the balance, we cannot remain indifferent, as the role of a silent observer or a malicious bystander is not ours. We see the potential dangers and are ready to do everything for a true New Armenia, and we will propose ways to safeguard the Homeland from visible challenges.

Emphasizing the key role of mass media in our socio-political life and in shaping the public agenda, as well as considering the media as an inseparable part of our life’s work and chosen path, we have decided to establish 'Karyak Media', which has acquired 'Tert Em' LLC, 'Armnews' LLC, and 'Radio 107 FM' LLC, operating under the brands 'Tert.am', 'Armnews', and 'Lav Radio' respectively.

We have entrusted the unified executive management of these companies under the single brand 'Tert.am' to Aram Antinyan.
