Date Announced for Inauguration Ceremony of Newly Elected Parliament Members

The date for the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected members of the National Assembly of Armenia has been announced on the Facebook page of the spokesperson for the Central Electoral Commission, Hermine Harutyunyan.

“Dear colleagues, on January 10, at 13:00, a solemn ceremony for the handing over of mandates to the members of the National Assembly elected during the extraordinary elections held on December 9, 2018, will take place at the building of the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after A. spendiaryan,” wrote Harutyunyan.

It is noteworthy that the “My Step” alliance will receive 88 parliamentary mandates as a result of the extraordinary elections held on December 9, while the “Prosperous Armenia” party will receive 26 mandates, and the “Bright Armenia” party will receive 18 mandates. Additionally, the “My Step” alliance will receive four mandates through one representative each from the Armenian Yezidi, Russian, Assyrian, and Kurdish national minorities.
