Armen Grigoryan Discusses Situation in Karaganda with Kazakhstan's Security Council Secretary
On January 8, 2019, a phone conversation took place between the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, and the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Secretary of the Security Council, Gabit Baizhanov.
According to the press secretary of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, during the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the situation that has developed in Karaganda.
The Armenian Security Council Secretary expressed his deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, Zhansait Bakytzhanuli.
Both sides emphasized the inadmissibility of turning a tragedy caused by a domestic dispute into an interethnic issue.
The Secretary of the Security Councils from both countries highlighted the necessity of a comprehensive and transparent investigation, ensuring that all offenders are held accountable strictly within the framework of law and justice.
At the same time, the importance of ensuring ongoing direct communication between the relevant agencies of both countries was underscored.
