Missing Man Found in Korea Gorge
The missing man in the Korea Gorge of Yerevan has been found deceased. According to Shamshyan.com, the body of 63-year-old Nikolay Bandaryan was discovered by rescuers near the water conduit adjacent to the "Kanaker HPP" pressure chamber.
It is worth noting that the man had been missing since December 3. On that day, at 18:47, the "911" service received a call about the citizen (63 years old) who had gone to work in a parcel of land near the water channel of the Korea Gorge bypass tunnel around 14:00 and had not returned. Attempts to contact him via phone were unsuccessful, prompting the need for rescue assistance.
Contact was made with the caller, who mentioned that the citizen was conducting economic work near the chicken coop located in the backyard of one of the houses on Forest Street, close to the channel (it is suspected that he may have fallen into the channel).
Information was received that a shoe had been found, which, according to the missing man's son, belongs to his father.
