Vardenyats Pass Closed for Heavyweight Vehicles

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 17:00 today, the Vardenyats Pass is closed for heavyweight and trailer vehicles. Road construction teams are currently engaged in clearing the roads and treating them with salt and sand.

Additionally, the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia has notified the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of Armenia that as of 17:30, the Stepanstsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
