Details on the Case Involving Serzh Sargsyan's Nephew Narek Sargsyan and His Bodyguards

The newspaper "Joghavorud" reports: "As it is known, two different criminal cases are being investigated in the National Security Service concerning the actions of Narek Sargsyan, the nephew of Serzh Sargsyan. One of the cases pertains to the kidnapping and brutal beating of a 49-year-old man by N. Sargsyan and his bodyguards.

According to preliminary information, the man had wanted to establish a night club, but N. Sargsyan abducted him and forced him to abandon that desire. Four bodyguards of Narek Sargsyan have been detained in connection with this case, and a warrant for Narek Sargsyan's arrest has been issued. It is known that he was recently discovered in Prague. Before Narek Sargsyan is transferred to Armenia, according to information received by "Joghavorud" newspaper, the investigative body has separated the episode involving his bodyguards and has sent the accusatory conclusion to the court. The episode relating to Narek Sargsyan is still under investigation and will go to court after his transfer to Armenia.
