Soldier Hospitalized in Artsakh with Gunshot Wound and 'Extremely Serious' Condition
Yesterday afternoon, a soldier was transferred to the military hospital in Stepanakert. According to Shamshyan.com, the soldier was admitted with a gunshot wound to the eye and is reportedly in extremely serious condition. Local doctors provided initial emergency care and are now preparing to transfer the injured soldier to Muratsan Hospital in Yerevan.
The soldier's mother, in an interview with photojournalist G. Shamshyan, stated, "My son was drafted into the army by the Erebuni military commissariat, and yesterday we received a call asking us to go to the military commissariat to obtain our child's documents and then head to Muratsan Hospital. They are transferring your son from Artsakh to there. We still do not know what caused the gunshot wound or the circumstances under which our son, whose last name is Vahranyan, sustained the injury. At this moment, we are only concerned about our child's fate."
