Vigen Chaldyranyan Also Resigns

Vigen Chaldyranyan, the director of the Sos Sargsyan National Theatre, submitted his resignation after a meeting with Acting Minister of Culture Lilit Makunts today.

It is noteworthy that the theater actors have been on strike for 12 days, demanding Vigen Chaldyranyan's resignation. Previously, he held the position of artistic director in conjunction with his role as director, but following the actors' demands, he submitted his resignation on November 28. The position, which became vacant, was filled by director Suren Shahverdyan, who also resigned shortly after his appointment.
