Where Did the 71 Million Dram Funding for the New Christmas Tree Come From?

Isabella Abgaryan, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the 'My Step' faction, announced on her Facebook page that the funding for the main Christmas tree in Republic Square has been sourced from the savings of the 'Yerevan 2800' celebration.

An amount of 71 million drams, or about 150,000 dollars, has been allocated from the Yerevan Municipality budget for the new Christmas tree.

It was previously announced that a new main Christmas tree will be installed in Yerevan's Republic Square, with work having already commenced.
