"I suggest that the management of "Shant" TV allocate all air time for the debate exclusively to me, especially since I interrupted my campaign in Artsakh to rush to the capital for this debate," wrote Menua Harutyunyan of the Republican Party in response to Deputy Minister Ruben Rubinyan’s post, in which he refused to debate Harutyunyan.

"Since the childlike soul of Rubinyan couldn’t withstand the pressure and declined to debate me with inappropriate excuses, I propose that anyone from the ten of Nikol, including Nikol himself, come to debate me. Otherwise, considering global practices, I suggest that all air time for the debate on 'Shant' TV be granted to me since I interrupted my campaign in Artsakh for this debate... If none of Nikol's ten come to the debate, I can bring a hat, backpack, or yesterday’s saddle and place it on the empty chair in front of me... Of course, it’s hard to debate with a guy like me when you are a liar, deceiving your own people for the sake of your power and position," wrote the Republican.
