Deputy Minister Refuses Debate After Menua Harutyunyan's 'Horse' Photo

Ruben Rubinyan, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and candidate from the 'My Step' alliance, has declined to debate with Republican Party candidate Menua Harutyunyan.

On his Facebook page, Rubinyan stated that the reason for his refusal was a recent photo of Harutyunyan sitting on a white horse.

“A few days ago, I agreed to debate with the 9th candidate of the Republican Party, Menua Harutyunyan, on Shant TV in the evening, but after the 'horse story' yesterday, I felt that I simply cannot legitimize absurdity with my presence, and it would be inappropriate for me to participate in such a debate. Anticipating possible speculations, I will say that I am ready to debate anyone from the Republican Party’s 10th spot instead,” wrote the Deputy Minister.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, Menua Harutyunyan, the 9th candidate on the Republican Party's list, posted a photo of himself on horseback from Kapan, stating that he will continue the unfinished work of David Bek.
