Traffic Restrictions in Yerevan

In order to ensure the safety of participants in events dedicated to Republic Day, traffic restrictions are planned on several streets from May 25 to 28.

On May 25, from 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM, the following route will be closed: Arzni Airport - Nor Geghi Community - Yerevan Highway - Yeghvard Highway - Halabyan Street of Yerevan - Tsitsernakaberd Highway. From 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM, the stretch of Athens Street - Mashtots Avenue - Amiryan Street will also be closed. Athens Street will remain closed until May 28, until the event concludes.

From 1:30 AM to 7:00 AM, traffic will be restricted at Republic Square and access streets to the square. From 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM, the following route will be closed: Amiryan Street - Tigran the Great Avenue - Agathangelos Street - Grigor Lusavorich Street - Argishti Street - Athens Street. From 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM, the stretch from Shahumyan Square to Khorenatsi Street - Agathangelos Street will be closed.

On May 26, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, traffic will be restricted on Athens Street - Mashtots Avenue - Amiryan Street, and Tigran the Great Avenue - Mher Mkrtchyan Street - Khorenatsi Street - Italy Street - the former “Capital” regiment area will be closed. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the junction of Khristapori Street and Tigran the Great Avenue will also be closed, as well as the route from Athens Street - Tigran the Great Avenue - Agathangelos Street - Grigor Lusavorich Street - Argishti Street - Athens Street.

On May 28, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, all mentioned road sections will be closed, while the Republic Square - Tigran the Great Avenue - Khristapor intersection will remain closed until May 29 at 1:00 AM.
